GREENVILLE, KY., Angelin Sweeney, 78, of Greenville received her final call on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:30 PM that her work here on earth was finished. A testament of her faith in Christ and love for her family was exemplified after the life-changing diagnosis of metastatic ovarian cancer in 2018. In those dark days of chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and multiple lab draws, she always wanted to know “how are you?” What a legacy she leaves behind as a family member left a note for her in her last days saying, “I aspire to be like you and the legacy of kindness and graciousness you have shown.” Leon took her as his wife 60 years ago on a cold February day.
She was the mother of Bobby (Debra) Sweeney and Michele (Randy) Coleman. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren Ashley (Matthew) Painter, Lauren Pendley, Caleb Sweeney, Makayla Sweeney, and Jenny Beth Gray, 8 great grandchildren Mattox, Asher, Ava, Owen, Ryann, Ashtynn, Kailey, and Madden.
