CENTRAL CITY, KY., − G B Rolley, 98, of Central City passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. He was born in Depoy on September 9, 1922 the son of Will Rolley and Dora McElvain Rolley. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Mr. Rolley was preceded in death by his parents, 9 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years Mildred Steele Rolley of Central City, 2 sons Craig (Brenda) Rolley of Madisonville, Joel (Linda) Rolley of Brighton, MI., 1 daughter Tammy (Rickey) Hoskins of Greenville, 8 grandchildren Chance (Crystal) Rolley, Tanna Rolley, Scottie Daniels, Rachel (Nick) Cease, Kayla (Chance) Beliles, Kevin (Dianna) Rolley, Dennis (Jen) Rolley, and April Rolley, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Lee Family Cemetery in Greenville with Bishop Donnie Abney officiating.
Friends and family attending will be required to wear masks.
There will be no visitation. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
