POWDERLY, KY., — Elizabeth Nadine Hatfield, 90, of Powderly passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Greenville on August 18, 1929 the daughter of Alvie Middleton and Evelyn Holmes Middleton. She was of the Baptist faith. She retired in 1986 after 27 years as a cook at Muhlenberg Central High School.
She is survived by a daughter Andrehia Hatfield of Powderly, a brother Curtis (Barbara) Middleton of Madisonville, 3 sisters Dorothy Sullivan of Greenville, Trudy (Ronald) Cobb of Central City, Marilyn (Barry) Avery of Powderly, Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Gene Hatfield, a sister Shirley Bernice Middleton, and a daughter Mary Lou Hatfield.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 1pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Chaplin K. C. Klarner with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
Visitation will be after 10am Thursday, February 6, 2020 until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
