GREENVILLE, KY., — William Edwin Bandy, 90, of Greenville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Born September 22, 1929 in Muhlenberg County he was a retired coal miner and lifelong farmer. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville. He loved raising a garden and riding his four-wheeler or truck around the farm with his dog always riding with him, he was devoted to his family, always happy to support them in whatever they did.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Exie Pearl Jenkins Bandy.
Survivors include 2 sons Mark (Jowanna) Bandy and Dr. Eric (Joan) Bandy both of Greenville, 5 grandchildren David, Carmen, Nathan Bandy, Kacey (Scott) Stafford, and Bryan (Natalie) Buchanan, 5 great-grandchildren Hazel and Amos Stafford, Asa, Abby and Ally Buchanan, also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 10am to 2pm at Second Baptist Church in Greenville.
Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Dr. Kevin Milburn and Bro. Bob Thurman officiating. Burial to follow at Woodland Baptist Church. Gary's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
