GREENVILLE, KY., — Marshall Starcher, 85, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:57pm at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born on February 17, 1934 the son of Earl Vincent Starcher and Mary Ethel Parson Starcher. He was a member of New Midway Missionary Baptist Church in Rochester, KY and was a retired Air Force tech sergeant serving from 1953-1973.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Pat Rice and Nora Lee Starcher.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 1pm at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, KY conducted by Rev. Roger Heltsley.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Bernice Jaunita Baker Starcher of Rochester, his son Marshall E. (Bobbi) Starcher of Royston, GA., his daughter Melanie (Hank) Raemsch of Rochester, 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters Mary Ellen Shields, Anna Mae (Lyle) Austin, and Earlene West, 2 brothers Johnny (Bonnie) Starcher and Albert (Wanda) Starcher.
There will be no visitation. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
