GREENVILLE, KY., — Imojean Francis Gossett Moore, 89, of Greenville passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born on November 28, 1929 to the late Enos and Lola Winn Gossett of Rosewood, KY. Imojean worked alongside her husband of 71 years running the family business Moore’s Tractor and Implement Co. Her greatest joy was her family.
Imojean was preceded in death by her brothers Wilbert Gossett (Ima) of Greenville, Ray Gossett (Lenora) of Rosewood, sisters Eva Sweeney (Elgan), Alma Lee Peterson (Dee) both of Greenville, and Dorothy Reeves (Benton) of Central City.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years Lee R. Moore, sons Terry W. Moore (Connie) of Madisonville, Paul G. Moore (Sally) of Greenville, daughter Susan Moore Brown of Madisonville, grandsons Jonathan W. Moore (Molly) of Nashville, TN., Marc A. Moore (April) of Bowling Green, Logan A. Brown of Murray, granddaughters Monica Moore Wentworth (Jonathan) of Antioch, TN., Lauren E. Brown of Madisonville, great grandchildren Mason, Mallory, Magnolia, Marjorie, Macy Moore, and Logan Wentworth, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Gary’s Funeral Home.
Funeral will be Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 10am. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville, KY.
