Rolland Kevin Kaemerer, 58, of Bremen

KRAMERER-ROLLAND-KEVINBREMEN, KY., — Rolland Kevin Kaemerer, 58, of Bremen passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 1:08pm at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. He was born on November 13, 1960 the son of Thomas William Kaemerer and Erma Lorraine Deem Kaemerer. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville and he retired from the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Lieutenant in 1997 after 11 years, working at the Kentucky State Reformatory at LeGrange, KY and Green River Correctional Complex in Central City, KY.  He loved USC football, the Los Angeles Rams, UK basketball, and spending time with his wife and his daughter. He owned Danka Saints Kennel and loved breeding and showing St. Bernards.  

He was a Navy veteran in the Master of Arms Force for 9 years attaining the rank of an E3 after spending most of his career serving in the Far East on the aircraft carriers the USS Proteus and the USS Constellation. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark William Kaemerer.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Deanna Michele Kaemerer of Bremen, his daughter Danielle Faith Kaemerer of Bremen, and brother Paul W. Kaemerer of Nevada.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY conducted by Bro. Bob Thurman with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen, KY with military honors.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 5pm until 8pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and from 11am until the time of the funeral at the funeral home on Friday.
