Bonnie Dell Cornette, 89, of Greenville

5a0608ea99046.---CopyGREENVILLE, KY., — Bonnie Dell Cornette, 89, of Greenville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her home after several months of illness. She was born in Greenville to Freddie B. and Ruthie M. Williams. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Sharon General Baptist Church. Bonnie’s warm smile, tender love for all, and welcoming spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold N. Cornette, son Douglas N. Cornette, sisters Barbara Cornette and Linnie Putman, brother Andrew Williams, grandson James Harold Willis, and daughter-in-law Vicki Thompson Cornette.

She is survived by her daughter Bettye J. Willis, son Thomas A. Cornette, granddaughters Veronica Winters, Sabrina (Joseph) Blyler, Christy (Forrest) Glover, grandsons Scott Cornette and Roger (Jacinta) Cornette, daughter-in-law Charlotte Vincent Cornette, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Wanda Johnson and Joyce Dukes, several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to ‘Mamaw’s’ caregivers Linda Randolph, Sadonna Rose, Patty Stewart, and Hospice of Western Kentucky who made it possible to fulfill Mom’s desire to live in her home.  Also, thanks to Dr. Ashley Gabbard for her special care for Bonnie.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY with the Rev. Darren Pentecost officiating and Rev. Roger Putman assisting.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Greenville, KY. 

Visitation will be after 11am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Gary’s Funeral Home until time of funeral.
