Lola Rhea Cook, 98, of Greenville

Lola-Rhea-CookGREENVILLE, KY., — Lola Rhea Cook, 98, of Greenville passed away Wednesday morning September 5, 2018 at 2:37am in the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Greenville.  She was born May 28, 1920 in Kirkmansville, KY the daughter of Charles Bivin and Ava Saddler Bivin. She was a housewife and a homemaker and was a member of the Greenville United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband F. R. Cook in 1990, sisters Mildred Hendrix, Ruth Travis, Nella Bivin, Mabel Bivin, and twin sister Nola Mae Cook, Brothers Leman Bivin, Layton Bivin, and 1 nephew Mike Cook. 

Funeral services will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Mr. Joey Parker with burial to follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Weir, KY.

She is survived by 1 daughter Felecia (Steve) Campbell of Bremen, 2 grandchildren Stevie (Traci Jo) Campbell of Bremen, Kim (Steve) Newman of Greenville, 5 great grandchildren Steven Atlee Campbell, Ashlee Jo Campbell, Steven Wayne Newman II, Jolee Brooke Campbell, Kennedy Lee Newman, 1 niece Ettie Mae (Joey) Parker.

Friends may call on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9am until time of service at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
