Lina Kay Shutt, 75, of Greenville

LINA-KAY-SHUTTGREENVILLE, KY., — Lina Kay Shutt, 75, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday night, May 30, 2018 at 10:55pm at Wellington Parc in Owensboro. She was born on March 27, 1943 in Luzerne, KY the daughter of Connie Doyle Shutt and Ruby Jane Adkinson Shutt. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville where she worked in the nursery for many years and was retired from Bell South in 1996 after 34 years as an operator and service technician. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1961 and was a true blue UK fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers J.D. Shutt, Lyndell (Charlie) Shutt, Wyndell (Spud) Shutt, John L. Shutt, 2 sisters Ailene Shutt and Martha DeArmond, niece Annette DeArmond, and a great niece Sarah Holt Beck.

She is survived by her sister Doris Shutt Smith of Philpot, KY, brother Terry (Sandy) Shutt of Crestwood, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, June 2, at 1pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Tom Stovall officiating with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.

Friends may call after 10am Saturday morning June 2, 2018 at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville until funeral time.
