GREENVILLE, KY., Edna Mae Chandler, 77, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Muhlenberg County on July 30, 1943 the daughter of Buster Crick and Rosie McIntosh Crick. She had worked for Cowden Manufacturing Company and Flynn Manufacturing. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Tywappity. She liked to fish and to cook for her family and friends. She was a devoted Christian lady, a very caring woman, and she loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 ½ years Bonnie Edward Chandler in 2013, 4 brothers Elwood Crick, Noble Crick, Bill Crick, and L.D. Crick, and 1 sister Dorothy Drake.
She is survived by 1 daughter Susie (Ronnie) Key of Echols, 2 sons Gary (Pamela) Chandler of Smith’s Grove, Ronnie (Phyllis) Chandler of Greenville, 5 grandchildren Savannah (Jeff Maples) Chandler of Park City, Jed (Christinia) Chandler of Shepherdsville, Kelsey (Seth) Washburn of Bowling Green, Butch (Aaron) Randolph of Bremen, Joel Skipworth of Goodlettsville, TN., 7 great grandchildren Madelyn Chandler, Boston Chandler, Garrison Chandler, Briley Randolph, Aiden Randolph, Sailor Kate Gaines, Grayson Lane Gaines, 3 sisters Thelma (Melford) Brooks of Greenville, Dona Vincent of Central City, and Minnie Gibson of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. J. W. Haire and Rev. Donald McGhee officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Grove Cemetery in Greenville, KY.
