GREENVILLE, KY., – Wilma Etheline Freels, 89, of Greenville passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Kirkmansville, KY on October 7, 1931 the daughter of Bernard Allison and Ora Lee Sullivan Allison. She was a member of Jernigan’s Chapel Methodist Church. She worked for Whirlpool and Inland Container in Evansville. She owned Central Auto Mart in Central City with her husband and they also owned Freels Super Saver Grocery Store in Weir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold David Freels in 2002, her parents and 2 sisters Regina Locke and Francis Alicetine Lee.
She is survived by 2 daughters Vickie (Roland) Burke of Greenville, Phyllis (Mike) Drake of Greenville, 1 son Shawn Freels of Greenville, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 sisters Margaret (Paul) Johnson of Greenville, Bernadean (Larry) Thomas of Greenville, Wanda (Bill) Armstrong of Henderson, Brona Hendrix of Lexington.
Visitation and graveside services will be private with burial in Woodland Cemetery with Pastor David Lee Eddmenson giving the eulogy. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
