CENTRAL CITY, KY., − Isaac Glenn Lear, 83, of Central City passed away on November 13, 2020 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on June 25, 1937 the son of Tom Lear and Bertie Brown Lear. He retired from Phelps Dodge in Hopkinsville after 25 years and was a farmer all his life. He was a member of Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Nadean Lear in 2003, a stepson James Dorsey, Jr, and a grandson Christopher Patrick McElroy.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years Winnie Rose Johnson Lear of Central City, 1 son Steve (Anna) Lear of Belton, 4 step-children Angie Whittington of Bowling Green, Debbie (Ron) McElroy of Cleaton, William Harry Sinclair, Sr. of Dalhart. TX., 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 after 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Joines Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Tony Blake officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Family and friends who attend the visitation or graveside service will be required to wear masks and respect social distancing as per state mandate.
