CONDOLENCES

Stella May Stiles, 79, of Greenville

  • Misty, your father told me about Stella's passing. I know the pain it can bring. I lost my mother nearly 2 yrs ago. Please give my condolences to your brother's as well. Just know your not alone in your loss. My prayers are with you, Mark, Scott, Todd and your father at this time. God Bless, Rae (Akron, OH)

William KIyndal Beadnell, 62, of Greenville

  • I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of William. When we were kids, all our families would meet at Memaw, Granddaddy, and Aunt Mildred's. Our "group" was William, Roger, Philip, Howard, Mikey, my brother David and I. We ran around, playing while the "old folks" visited on the front porch swing and hollered at us kids to behave! After Uncle Klyndal, Aunt Mildred, Memaw and Granddaddy all passed, the families grew apart, as did us kids which was the saddest part. It's probably been 50 years since we've all been together but I always thought of William fondly and I'm sure he was a great Husband, Father, and Papaw! Prayers sent for comfort and strength! R.I.P. William

William Joseph. Robertson, Sr., 86, of Dunmor

  • Bill was the finest of gentleman. He and his wife, Judy, were consistently kind, compassionate, and caring toward my mother, their neighbor in Dunmor. As she was slipping into her later years, they continually remembered her with food gifts and visits and encouraged her spiritual life with prayers and study of the Word. Bill organized yard clean ups with the men of the LDS church to trim and cut down trees and bushes on her property. He and other members painted her front porch and mailbox and helped her in very real and significant ways to maintain and beautify her home. This demonstration of agape love is indeed rare and reflective of the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Bill spoke at mom's graveside service. His eulogy remains very memorable to me. May the angels sing you into Glory, dear friend. What a wonderful, positive influence you have had in this weary world!
